YKK: Click track

YKK is the most widely used premium zipper in the world. Seriously they zip up everything. When they needed to announce their new "Click Trak" zipper technology they wanted a commercial that expressed not just the use case but that was something engaging and sharable. Through collaboration with the company, we developed, designed and animated a multi sensory experience that used the action of the zipper, and circular shape language as the cetner motif. Each scene was designed to express either a circle or a clicking action to drive home the functionality. We set the film up with a quick history that was all in animated in 2D (before Click Trak) and then we flipped the visual script into a more physical, 3D approach to show the future.
