VALORANT: PEARL
Valorant map reveals are like cat nip for the massive global fan-base. They are promos to tease out the lore, strategy, and get a first look at the new game maps. These hype videos showcase the gaming experience well before the players can step inside the arena. In this spot, we find ourselves in a parallel universe of Portugal, an underwater world protected by a massive force field. The spot opens on a hologram that becomes a narrative device throughout the piece, giving us clues to the new world, and complementing the shots of geography that we created using paintovers on 3D geometry in our own iconic style. This spot helped set up a huge game cinematic that followed shortly after.
